Job Title: Installation Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for assembling and installing furniture for local new businesses. As an Installation Technician, you will work both in the field and in the warehouse, leading a crew to ensure smooth delivery, assembly, and installation of furniture. Your role will involve performing furniture service and relocation duties, including delivery, assembly, moving, debris removal, and repairs under the guidance of a Lead Installer or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

+ Complete furniture assembly and installation according to specifications to meet customer satisfaction.

+ Inspect furniture for proper setup following the manufacturer's guidelines.

+ Communicate effectively with clients, crews, and employees of supported organizations.

+ Load and unload furniture onto trucks as necessary.

+ Follow all safety procedures during the performance of job duties.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand tools, moving furniture, and working in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to speak effectively to clients and team members.

+ Willingness to use tools such as cordless drills, tape measures, levels, and box cutters daily.

+ Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.

+ 1 year of experience in assembling, moving, or installing furniture.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined individuals are considered.

+ 1 year of experience working with a moving company.

+ Experience working in a furniture warehouse is beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
