1st Shift Assembly and Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Production Associates. We have immediate openings for two candidates, with a total of three positions available. As an Assembler, you will use a hot melt glue gun to adhere foam to converted products and utilize tools such as a sonic welder and hand tools. Machine Operators will receive on-the-job training to operate a variety of machinery, including sonic welders, plastic conversion machinery, presses, water jets, die cutting, saws, and tape slitters. Responsibilities include cleaning your work area, packaging items for shipment, and working independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities

+ Use a hot melt glue gun to glue foam to converted products.

+ Operate sonic welders, plastic conversion machinery, presses, water jets, die cutting machines, saws, and tape slitters.

+ Learn to operate multiple production lines.

+ Maintain a clean work area, including managing trim and flashing.

+ Package items and prepare them for shipment.

Essential Skills

+ At least 3 years of machine operating experience.

+ At least 1 year of assembly experience.

+ Experience in manufacturing, including packaging and using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working with plastics, including films or thin plastics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
