    Job Title: Warehouse Lead

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled warehouse associate/material handler with over 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will perform regular warehouse duties and act as a lead, managing a team of employees. Must be capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and have sit-down forklift experience. Lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct safety and warm-up routines each morning and check the board for daily orders.

    + Operate sit-down forklifts to pick parts using the labeling system and RF scan gun.

    + Move oversized products, load and unload production onto truck beds.

    + Work closely with the supervisor to address and resolve task concerns.

    + Accurately sort, label, and store picked products safely in containers or on pallets.

    + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and tidying the work area.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift operation

    + RF scanner usage

    + Order picking

    + Material handling

    + Shipping and receiving

    + Basic math skills

    + Ability to lift 65 lbs occasionally

    + 6+ months of forklift experience

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Lead or supervisory experience

    + General labor

    + Pallet jack operation

    Work Environment

     

    Our main building in Cedar Falls, Iowa, is a large and fast-paced warehouse, serving diverse industries such as food and beverage, agriculture, and electronics. The environment is hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and dusty due to animal feed. Shifts include 1st (6am to 2:30pm), 2nd (2pm to 10:30pm), 3rd (10pm to 6:30am), and an additional shift (7am to 5:30pm, Fri-Mon, or Sat-Sun). The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans or shorts, and a t-shirt or long sleeve top.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
