Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
+ Eligibility for Board Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
+ Demonstrated experience/training in microsurgical techniques
+ Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Clinical or basic science research experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills
+ Ability to work in a team environment

Breast Microsurgeon - Adjoint Instructor - 37435 Faculty
The Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, in conjunction with the University of Colorado Hospital, is recruiting a residency-trained Plastic Surgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for a 0.45 FTE limited appointment (6-month) position available at the rank of Adjoint Instructor. Candidates must have completed an approved Plastic Surgery residency program and be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The position will primarily focus on adult general plastic surgery (including reconstructive, microsurgery, breast surgery, and aesthetic/cosmetic) and will involve care of patients at the University of Colorado Hospital and its affiliates. The candidate must also demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $300 per hour for 45% of a full-time positionThe above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
