    The Physician Payments Analyst will partner with operations and finance leadership teams to develop, maintain, and administer physician and APP comp plans across the Physician Alignment Group (PAG). Establishes effective monitoring processes to manage all aspects of provider payments across the Physician Alignment Group. Trains others in department in optimal procedures. Oversees the work of other physician payment analysts. Leads month end projects and other special projects to support decision making. Executes month end close with finance team to prepare physician payment accruals, reconciliation calculations and compensation reports and records. Provides analytical support for variance analysis and senior management. Prepares and reviews financial statements, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations. Performs monthly financial reporting, income statement analysis, and prepares various standard and ad-hoc reports.

    Qualifications:

    In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    + Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or related field required

    + 5 years of experience in healthcare industry in a finance related role is preferred; At least 6 years of experience in a finance related role outside of the healthcare industry required

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel. VBA experience preferred.

    + Experience with Epic, Lawson, Epsi, Access, PowerBI and business intelligence tools preferred

     

    Sedentary work - (prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
