    Business Management enhances business performance by promoting key initiatives and managing risks. The role is dynamic, adapting to business priorities, and is crucial in advising senior management and coordinating resources for strategic objectives. Part of the Global Capital Markets Business Management team, this New York-based position supports the Strategic Financing Solutions group, offering innovative financing solutions to corporate and investor clients.

     

    As a Vice President Business Manager within the Global Capital Markets team, you will lead the establishment of the business management support model for this new group. Your responsibilities will include implementing business performance reports, creating and delivering analytical work to inform the management team's decisions, and measuring the success of the business's key initiatives.

    Job responsibilities

    + Track and understand trends by analyzing booked fees and pipeline activity. Provide insights on drivers of change to F&BM partners and management team

    + Analyze competitor data, in particular league tables, to benchmark JPMorgan's performance against other competitors and assist the management team in understanding underlying trends

    + Provide regular updates to senior management on P&L, new mandates and missed deals, revenue forecast, headcount tracking, potential risk areas

    + Prepare content used in Business Reviews and Town Halls.

    + Build and/or maintain various databases to monitor proprietary deal-related information not available in public sources to facilitate enhanced business analyses

    + Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects to support the growth and development of our business

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area

    + Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experience

    + Energetic and dynamic in style, positive attitude

    + Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills

    + Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions

    + Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present well to senior and global business heads

    + Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups

    + Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

    + Excellent project management and organizational skills

    + Attention to detail with logical thought process
