Privacy Program Manager 1424183 * Hourly pay: $45/hr * Worksite: Leading university (Redwood City, CA 94063 - Onsite) * W2 Employment, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 20-25 hours/week, 2 Month Assignment, Possible extension/conversion A leading university is seeking a Privacy Program Manager. The successful candidate will prepare and execute privacy risk assessments of projects, systems, and departments. The company offers a great work environment! Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities: * Conduct data incident responses/investigations following recognized standards. * Review the adequacy and effectiveness of related policies, systems, processes, and controls across the University. * Consult and advise university faculty and staff on best practices and the handling of complex and sensitive information; develop, deliver, and implement education and training. * Conduct investigations of suspected privacy violations of law and policy in conjunction with other audit/investigation staff and university resources. * Contribute to developing the unit-level annual work plan. Privacy Program Manager Qualifications: * 4 years of audit, privacy, compliance, or other relevant experience in higher education, health care, research-based non-profit organizations, or government contracting. * Bachelor's degree - Law degree is a plus. * Knowledge and ability to use OneTrust's privacy automation modules. * Strong project management and organizational abilities. * Solid knowledge of IT systems and AI tools. Shift: * Monday to Friday, within office business hours (8 AM - 5 PM). * Flexibility on shift/schedule as long as the working hours are during our business hours and are a consistent schedule. (H)
