This is not your average labor job — it’s a **hands-on, high-energy role** that requires strength, endurance, and a strong work ethic.

    Position Details

    + **Job Type:** Full-time, year-round

    + **Pay:** $21.00 – $23.00/hour (based on experience)

    + **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + occasional Saturdays

    This Job Is For You If You Can:

    + **Lift and carry 50–60 lbs repeatedly** throughout the day

    + **Shovel, dig, and haul** materials in all weather conditions

    + **Climb up and down steep landfill slopes** with heavy tools and sandbags

    + **Work in extreme heat or cold** without slowing down

    + Stay on your feet for **8–10 hours a day**

    + Handle **dirty, dusty, and odorous environments** with a positive attitude

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform physically demanding labor tasks across the landfill and transfer station

    + Operate hand tools and light equipment (shovels, post hammers, picks, etc.)

    + Direct traffic safely and assist customers on-site

    + Support environmental systems for **stormwater, landfill gas, and leachate control**

    + Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards

    What You’ll Need

    + 1+ year of experience in outdoor, physically demanding work

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    + Strong self-motivation and a commitment to safety

    + **This is a safety-sensitive position and requires the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.**

    + Willingness to assist at other sites if needed
