    Our client, a long-standing and family owned and operated leader in the produce industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Team Lead to join their growing company!

     

    **Pay** : $23-25

    **Schedule:** 1 st shift

    **Location** : Forest Park area

    **Type of Job:** Temp to hire

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop, enhance, and implement programs to ensure the quality management system meets updated requirements.

    + Back up the SQF Practitioner.

    + Analyze data to drive process improvements and support informed business decisions.

    + Oversee development plans for direct reports and provide training, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports and others as needed.

    + Leads department goals to align with business strategy.

    + Represents business and department in 3rd party and customer communication and meetings as requested.

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance – this time must include Food Safety, Regulatory, and Customer quality.

    + Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

    + Ability to work overtime as needed; some weekends may be required.

    + Ability to lift max 50lb, stand and sit for long periods of time, and **work in cold environment – the facility is 32F at all times** .

    + Bonus if certified or trained in the following: SQF Practitioner, PCQI, HACCP, FSMA
