Now Hiring: School Police Officer

Pay Rate: $28.00- $30.00 /hour

Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Location: Boyertown, Pa

Job Summary:

US Security Care is seeking highly qualified School Police Officers (SPOs) to help ensure the safety and security of school facilities. This role includes patrolling school grounds, managing access to restricted areas, and responding to incidents or threats as needed. Officers may be assigned to fixed posts or mobile patrols and should be prepared for both routine and unpredictable environments.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Patrol school buildings and grounds to prevent disturbances, unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism

+ Work on assigned or rotating shifts

+ Operate in uniform or plainclothes depending on the assignment

Required Qualifications:

+ Valid driver's license

+ Act 235 (PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification)

+ Act 120 (PA Municipal Police Officer Training – Police Academy Graduate)

+ Prior experience as a Municipal, State, Federal, or Military Police Officer (MP or MA)

+ Firearms/Weapons Qualification

+ Must pass pre-employment drug testing

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Knowledge of Pennsylvania laws and school district policies

+ Minimum of 4 years of police experience

+ Familiarity with office equipment

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Current clearances as required by Pennsylvania law, including:

+ Act 34 (Criminal History)

+ Act 151 (Child Abuse History)

+ FBI Fingerprint Clearance

+ Any additional clearances required by law
