Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our fresh food warehousing operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting customer satisfaction.

Here’s what you’ll do:

+ Maintain daily operational logs and performance records for warehouse activities.

+ Monitor and record temperature data to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

+ Assist in ordering and tracking inventory of packaging, cleaning, and operational supplies.

+ Support customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

+ Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

+ Help enforce food safety and hygiene protocols throughout the facility.

Here’s what you’ll need:

+ High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) required

+ Post-secondary education in logistics or food safety is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Basic understanding of food safety and handling procedures.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
