POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of this role is to produce custom fabricated assembly and products by following blue prints, bill of materials and following work instructions. The fabricator must have the ability to accurately setup and operate a wide variety of hand tools, fixtures, and fabrication equipment as to complete work. High performing, creative and flexible team member who is willing to work with less structure and is willing to change schedule as needed to execute to the requirements of the business and utilize available equipment resources.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Produces fabricated parts by following work instructions with the aid of drawings and fixtures .

+ Has the ability to fabricate components made of stainless steel, fiberglass and plastics.

+ Must be conscientious with handling of product to uphold our internal quality standards.

+ Must understand blue prints, read a tape measure, follow work instructions.

+ Perform PVC welding when needed.

+ Create crates and shipping carriers for product to be safely transport to the customer site.

+ Work effectively with team members to complete jobs in time.

+ Other duties as assigned

ATTRIBUTES

+ Read blue prints and follow work order and fabrication instructions.

+ Understand fabrication sequencing and efficient means for production.

+ Operating power tools as needed for fabrication and crating work.

+ Full understanding of jigs and fixtures and their purpose

+ Able to work independently and productively

+ Able to work in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

+ Basic computer knowledge

+ Must understand blue prints, read a tape measure, follow work instructions.

+ Previous machine shop experience, carpentry, plastic welding, CNC experience, and/or schooling preferred

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and job procedures.

The target hourly range is $20.00 - $23.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
