In this role, there is the opportunity to -
+ Monitor key performance indicators, including scheduling efficiency and point-of-service benchmarks, to support timely patient access.
+ Analyze staff development needs and coordinate training initiatives with Education and Training teams.
+ Assist in setting and implementing quarterly and annual goals, policies, and procedures for registration and patient business services.
+ Provide backup support for daily operations during staff absences to ensure continuity of workflow.
+ Develop and promote a patient-focused culture aligned with consumerism and service excellence initiatives.
+ Communicate system and payer updates to staff and collaborate with management to ensure appropriate training and policy updates.
+ Collaborate with Information Services to implement and optimize practice management system enhancements.
+ Investigate and resolve issues related to registration, coding, charge entry, collections, and financial reconciliation.
+ Perform financial analysis on accounts receivable, reimbursement trends, denials, and overall revenue performance.
+ Evaluate staff performance through audits, feedback, and annual reviews, and participate in hiring and personnel decisions.
Required
+ Bachelors Degree + 2 years healthcare experience w/ 1 year management experience OR
+ Associate's degree + 2 years healthcare experience w/ 1 year of management OR
+ High School Diploma + 3 years healthcare experience w/ 1 year of management experience
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 34
