Iteris is seeking a Material Handler for their second shift, who will support the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, and report findings to management. This individual will coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

2nd shift schedule: M-Th 1:30pm - 11:00pm and F 8:00am - 12:00pm

What you will be doing:

+ Receive and count stock items, and record data.

+ Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves into stock, re-stocks items as necessary

+ Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies.

+ Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, factory floor, supply rooms, or other areas.

+ Mark stock items using identification bar-code tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

+ Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

+ Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

+ Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

+ Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.

+ Maintain parts inventory and maintaining all parts bins.

+ Assist with the annual parts inventory process.

+ Delivers parts to technicians when necessary.

+ Help maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the parts department

+ Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside.

+ Ensure label is clear and visible.

+ Prepare merchandise for shipment.

+ Replenish inventory.

+ Replace damaged or missing products.

+ Monitors and maintains current inventory levels

+ Contributes, supports, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as needed

+ Perform additional duties that may be given or assigned from time to time or as needed due to the demand of business

+ May work longer hours when needed

+ Observe all company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism and good performance

What you need to be successful in this role:

+ HS Diploma preferred

+ Over three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or related experience

+ Experience working in a fast paced, minimum supervision environment

+ Shipping and receiving skills a plus

+ Flexible for possible transfers due to demand of work

+ Ability to exert moderate physical effort, typically involving, some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and which

+ may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds)

Iteris anticipates paying an hourly rate of $21.00 for this role.
