WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Social Media and Community Representative. This person will be a goal-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic and team-first mentality while bringing agile support of Communications strategy specifically with social media and community engagement. The position is responsible for the customer-facing content that the organization distributes through social media and email, as well as supporting external customer and stakeholder communications. They will support Senior Communications Specialists and the Sr. Director of Communications in marketing and external customer communications. They will ensure that the brand message is consistent, timely, relevant, creative and informative.

Responsibilities:

+ Produce compelling, strategic content for multiple customer groups and external stakeholders

+ Implement strategy and manage external communications output on social channels.

+ Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization's strategic vision.

+ Create relevant blog posts, short videos, and support website content.

+ Support, produce and publish mass communications with email blasts and marketing campaigns.

+ Document presence of companies at events, conferences, and speaking engagements.

+ Advocate on behalf of the company brand with external stakeholders through online connectivity.

+ Edit and revise external communications content as necessary, with keen eye toward quality control

+ 25% field work and travel supporting community events for promotion and content.

+ Support media releases and research, as needed

+ Writing, copy editing, and proofreading sales enablement materials, including but not limited to:

+ Pitch decks

+ One-pagers

+ Outreach emails

+ Call/voicemail scripts

+ Writing, copy editing, and proofreading customer-facing educational content for multiple lines of business

+ Collaborating on video scripts

+ Other marketing duties, as assigned

+ InDesign, Illustrator, or other graphic design experience desired.

+ Staying current on industry trends and upcoming technology, channels, and online marketing strategies.

+ Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations, or Business-related field is required.

+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills

+ 1+ years of work experience preferred

+ Prior public relations or marketing agency experience preferred
