Job Summary
The Manager, Product Enablement manages a team that is responsible for equipping internal revenue teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to effectively engage with our products and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Ensures superior technical expertise, development, and execution of enablement programs. This position requires strong product knowledge, excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
Base pay range: $165,000 - $185,000 (based on relevant experience).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Team Leadership & Development
+ Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team comprising Sales/Solutions Engineers and Product Marketing Managers.
+ Define clear roles, career paths, and performance objectives; conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development plans.
+ Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and accountability.
+ Enablement Strategy & Planning
+ Develop and own the overall Product Enablement strategy aligning with business objectives, sales targets, and global initiatives from Group.
+ Prioritize initiatives (training programs, content libraries, demo environments, market research) based on impact, resources, and timing.
+ Establish a roadmap for enablement activities tied to product launches, campaign cycles, and sales rhythms.
+ Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
+ Serve as primary liaison between the enablement team and Product Management, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Success, and Group Product Marketing.
+ Coordinate global and local launch plans: ensure materials and training developed by your team align with the Group’s global messaging and are localized appropriately.
+ Facilitate feedback loops: channel insights from sales and field into product roadmap discussions at both regional and corporate levels.
+ Content & Program Oversight
+ Oversee creation of high-quality enablement assets: technical demos, video tutorials, slide decks, battle cards, whitepapers, market analyses, pricing tools, and training modules.
+ Ensure seamless integration between technical content (led by Sales Engineers) and marketing content (led by Product Marketing Managers), maintaining consistency with brand and global positioning.
+ Validate that content is kept current as products evolve; implement version-control and distribution processes.
+ Demo Environment & Tools Management
+ Guide maintenance and evolution of demo environments, sandbox setups, and internal tools used for training and customer-facing demos.
+ Evaluate and recommend platforms for LMS, knowledge base, video hosting, analytics, and collaboration.
+ Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
+ Define key enablement metrics (e.g., training completion rates, content usage/adoption, influence on win rates, ramp time improvements).
+ Regular reporting to stakeholders, including to Senior Leadership Team.
+ Drive a data-driven mindset: analyze results, gather feedback, identify gaps, and iterate on programs to boost effectiveness.
+ Stakeholder Communication & Evangelism
+ Present enablement plans, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Advocate for enablement needs within broader GTM strategies; evangelize best practices in technical selling, positioning, and training methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
+ 8+ years of experience in Product, Product Consulting, Solutions Engineering, Enablement or related roles.
+ Strong understanding of product lifecycle and how to support different teams in maximizing product knowledge
+ Expertise in developing and implementing successful training and enablement programs
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Ability to translate complex product information into clear, concise, and engaging enablement materials
+ High level of initiative and self-motivation
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments
+ Experience managing a team of individuals to drive critical business results.
+ Comfortable presenting to executive management, highly technical engineers, and larger audiences.
+ Multitasking, critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential.
