Job Summary

We’re looking for a high-performing Executive Chef to lead a large-scale corporate café and a growing on- and off-site catering operation. This role is responsible for a robust food service program spanning 11 unique stations, supported by 3 sous chefs and a full purchasing team.

The operation runs primarily Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM, with select evening catering events.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead all aspects of daily foodservice operations and catering execution across all outlets

+ Plan and execute menus in line with company standards and client expectations

+ Ensure consistent food quality through standardized recipes, portioning, and plating

+ Lead, train, and develop culinary staff in preparation, food safety, sanitation, and equipment use

+ Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment schedules in line with regulatory standards

+ Manage inventory and purchasing to control costs and ensure product availability

+ Optimize use of leftover product within company guidelines

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and safety protocols

+ Participate in client engagement, team meetings, and professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

+ A.S. degree or equivalent experience

+ Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience

+ Strong catering background and experience with high-volume foodservice operations

+ Institutional or batch cooking experience a plus

+ Hands-on, team-oriented culinary leadership style

+ In-depth knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and kitchen systems

+ ServSafe certified, or willing to become certified
