• Assembly Technician

    Rainier Industries (Seattle, WA)


    Rainier Industries is a local manufacturing organization with a long, established history. We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team.

     

    Assembly Technicians produce a variety of high-quality products such as wayfinding signage, wallpaper vinyl graphics, retail displays, industrial art and much more. Each project is unique and will require a different set of skills like drilling, sanding, gluing, vinyl application and hand trimming.

    You will be successful in this role if you have:

    + Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience required.

    + Prior sign shop, wood working, or display exhibit craftsmanship is a plus.

    + Mechanical aptitude and ability analyze and troubleshoot.

    + Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality & ability to distinguish colors.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team to meet production schedules.

    + Demonstrated ability to have reliable and predictable attendance and punctuality.

    + Ability to communicate and understand directions in English both verbally and written.

    + Proficiency with computers.

    + Confident mathematic skills and measurements.

    + Lift and maneuver 35-75lb materials on a regular basis.

     

    Compensation

     

    This position is available at multiple levels. The level and corresponding salary range will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. Final placement within a level and associated range will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's skills, experience, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. The full salary ranges for each level are:

     

    + Level 1: $21.10 - $25.00 per hour

    + Level 2: $25.00 - $28.50 per hour

    + Level 3: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
