Description
We are seeking a creative and data-drivenDigital Marketing Specialistwith proven experience in digital marketing platforms and strategies to help shape the future of healthcare in rural communities. As part of a forward-thinking and mission-driven healthcare system, you will lead digital initiatives that connect patients with care, promote wellness, and elevate our brand across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about using digital tools to make a meaningful impact.This is a full-time, onsite position at our hospital in Fergus Falls, MN. Remote work is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
+ Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across channels including search, social, email, and display
+ Manage and enhance the organization’s website and digital presence to improve accessibility, SEO, and user experience
+ Collaborate with clinical and community teams to develop engaging, compliant content tailored to our local communities
+ Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and others, and translate insights into actionable improvements
+ Oversee social media strategy and content to foster community engagement and promote health education
+ Writes, manages and publishes content for email, web and social media platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy of content
+ Monitors social networking sites and interacts with customers, moderating online conversations, creating content and sparking discussion
+ Provides digital performance reporting and insightful analysis clients to drive greater audience engagement
+ Liaises with digital vendors and contract support
+ Ensure all digital communications adhere to HIPAA and healthcare advertising standards
+ Supports digital outreach for service line growth, patient acquisition, and community health initiatives
+ Willing to assist with other marketing functions as needed (i.e., event management and representation, meeting notes and follow-up, CRM maintenance, media placement management, etc.)
+ Maintains knowledge of healthcare industry news and emerging digital media trends

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $62,000-$75,000 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
+ Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
+ Must be able to work onsite at our hospital in Fergus Falls, MN.
+ 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectors
+ Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO platforms, and marketing automation systems
+ Strong understanding of healthcare marketing compliance and patient privacy standards
+ Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
+ Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
+ Savvy communication skills with internal teams, clients and outside partners/vendors
+ Reliable, professional, assertive, extremely organized with keen attention to detail
+ Experience planning and creating social media content and use of content management systems
+ Familiarity with social media management platforms
+ Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools a plus
+ Understanding of marketing automation tools
+ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
+ Demonstrated strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
+ Aptitude for market research, analysis and campaign evaluation with the ability to translate quantitative information into creative strategies
+ Ability to effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize deliverables and resources working across projects, based on scope of work and project goals
Preferred Skills
+ Familiarity with rural health challenges and community-based outreach
+ Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive digital design
+ Knowledge of local health trends and digital storytelling
+ Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
