Summary
The Principal Solutions Architect – ERP Supply Chain will lead strategic initiatives and provide visionary leadership in the design, development, and implementation of ERP Supply Chain solutions. This role focuses on aligning ERP Supply Chain capabilities with enterprise-wide logistics, manufacturing, and procurement strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor to solution teams and managers, the architect will bridge technical expertise and operational priorities to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
What You'll Do
+ Drive strategic thinking and long-term evolution of ERP Supply Chain solutions.
+ Serve as a trusted technical advisor to the ERP Application Solutions Manager, offering insights on SAP Supply Chain direction and proactive steps.
+ Collaborate with other Solution Architects to ensure alignment across SAP modules and enterprise systems.
+ Operate independently, identifying strategic supply chain initiatives and driving them to completion.
+ Lead critical SAP Supply Chain projects such as S/4HANA upgrades, warehouse management integrations, and supplier collaboration platforms.
+ Mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development within the ERP Supply Chain domain.
+ Foster strong relationships between ITS and Supply Chain departments, aligning technical solutions with operational goals.
+ Stay ahead of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and RPA in supply chain operations.
+ Participate in architecture review boards and alliances as needed.
+ Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
What It Takes To Succeed
+ Deep understanding of SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, etc.) and ERP best practices.
+ Strong technical design skills and ability to translate operational requirements into scalable ERP solutions.
+ Proven ability to lead ERP Supply Chain implementations and optimize logistics and procurement processes.
+ Familiarity with supply chain data flows, inventory management, and integration with legacy systems.
+ Experience with cloud-based supply chain platforms and trends in automation and smart logistics.
+ Exceptional communication skills to convey supply chain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
+ Ability to distill complex concepts into actionable technical plans and requirements.
+ Experience with system architecture methodologies, scalability, and integration processes.
+ General understanding of cloud architecture frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework).
+ Familiarity with industry architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
+ Proficient in enterprise systems project management methodologies.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of related experience is required (if no degree, 14 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling 14 years).
Education
A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
