Job Summary
As a pivotal member of the Registrar & Student Services (RSS) Team within the Office of Academic & Student Affairs (OASA), the Registration and Curriculum Coordinator will provide critical administrative and student-centered support primarily for the University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI) undergraduate (BSI, undergraduate minors) and online (MADS) programs. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Curriculum & Student Services, your role is central to ensuring efficient processes related to registration, course scheduling, communications, and curriculum management, serving as a liaison among students, faculty, and administration.

Responsibilities*
Primarily include but not limited to:
+ Provide registration and scheduling support for BSI and MADS degree programs and UG minors.
+ Coordinate school's course evaluation process.
+ Provide administrative support to the Online Programs (MADS) and Undergraduate (BSI) Academic Program Committees.
+ Coordinate all student and faculty communications for online and Undergraduate program registration.
+ Course schedule creation and data entry for online and Undergraduate programs.
Required Qualifications*
+ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
+ 4 years experience working in a higher education setting, in a registrar's office or an academic/student services office
+ Demonstrated proficiency with word processing documents, spreadsheets, databases, and data retrieval. Experience with Google applications and Microsoft Office Suite, and experience using online platforms for webinars and meetings (e.g., Zoom).
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role requiring customer service, organization, and prioritization
+ Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and independently.

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. This is a hybrid position. You may be required to travel to multiple locations on and off campus. The main office workspace for this position is located in the Leinweber Computer Science and Information building on North Campus, with the occasional visit to Central Campus. Punctual and regular attendance is required. You may be required to work during non-business hours and on weekends based on the requirements for your position.

The salary range for this position is $49,000 to $56,000. Salary is determined by direct relevant experience and demonstrated past performance results while ensuring equity on our team. All candidates are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process.

This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the University Staff United (USU), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
