    Job Description Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and a relentless commitment to achieving zero defects. This role will focus on driving quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    APQP Implementation:

    + Lead APQP activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to production.

    + Develop and maintain control plans, process flow diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product and process designs.

    Zero Defects Strategy:

    + Drive initiatives to achieve zero defects in manufacturing and supply chain processes.

    + Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues.

    + Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

    Shop/Supplier Quality Management:

    + Work closely with internal shop and or suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and APQP requirements.

    + Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to specifications.

    + Support development programs to enhance quality performance.

    Customer and Regulatory Compliance:

    + Ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.

    + Prepare and submit required documentation, including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).

    + Address customer concerns and implement corrective actions promptly.

    Continuous Improvement:

    + Champion lean methodologies and quality tools to drive process improvements.

    + Facilitate Kaizen events and other problem-solving activities.

    + Promote a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

    + 3 Minimum years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on APQP and zero defects.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

    + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

    + Certification in Six Sigma, CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or similar.

    + Experience in Aerospace, automotive, or other high-precision industries.

    + Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards.

     

    The salary range for this position is $ 98,000.00 - 131,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. This posting is expected to close on August 10, 2025.
