    Position Purpose:

    This hybrid Industrial Mechanic and Electrical Technician position requires an intermediate level of expertise to install, maintain, and repair both mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a combination of mechanical and electrical skills including responding to work orders, performing emergency and preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

     

    Working under minimal supervision as part of a self-directed work team, this is a multi-craft role. A good working knowledge of all types of equipment related to maintenance and operations is essential.

     

    We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a strong blend of electrical expertise and mechanical aptitude and able to identify and correct safety issues, perform independent equipment evaluations to prevent failures, and provide instruction and assistance to other technicians.

    Qualification:

    + Possession of at least an E2 Journeyman license, qualifying for comprehensive installation and industrial electrical work.

    + 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing setting.

    + Valid Driver's License is required.

    Essential Functions:

    + Preventive Maintenance & Inspections: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to proactively prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal operation.

    + Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Expertly identify and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions using a variety of tools and techniques.

    + Repair & Installation: Execute repairs, replace damaged components, and install new equipment, consistently adhering to electrical code standards. This includes installing and bending conduit, pulling wire, and making electrical connections precisely to specifications and codes.

    + Electrical Systems Management: Work proficiently with diverse voltage systems (e.g., 120V, 240V, 480V, single and three-phase), analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, and service electronic devices and systems.

    + Cable Management: Install, repair, and maintain communication and power distribution cables.
