### Job Duties

Essential Functions:

Lead and mentor welders

Program, set up, and optimize robotic welding systems

Oversee part quality and inspect welds for accuracy and consistency

Troubleshoot and prevent equipment downtime

Evaluate part rates for accuracy and improve processes when needed

Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures

Other Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Engineering to develop reliable, high-quality fixtures

Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning at peak performance

Work with Scheduling to increase run sizes, with a focus on 2nd shift output

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience with various welding equipment

MIG and TIG welding proficiency with ability to meet quality standards

Strong blueprint and work instruction reading skills

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding and production issues

Knowledge of weld process setup and adherence

Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Prior supervisory or lead experience required

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

This position operates in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must be able to:

Stand, walk, and work with tools for extended periods

Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds

Perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and climbing

Use close, color, and depth vision
