    Job Summary:

    We are seeking highly motivated, career-oriented Teachers with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

     

    + Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.

    + Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.

    + Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

    Skills & Other Requirements

    Lead Teacher:

    + Minimum of bachelor's degree (or equivalent college credits) in Elementary, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development

    + At least one-year experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred - not required)

    OR

    + An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.

    Assistant Teacher:

    + High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age

    + At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
