    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring skilled **Facilities Maintenance Technicians** for projects located in **Durham, NC** . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is **up to $30/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Perform interior and exterior painting, power washing, and drywall repairs

    + Maintain and repair bay doors, sliding doors, door bumpers, and seals

    + Service commissary carts, speed racks, and pallet jacks (fluids, chains, castors)

    + Replace outlet protectors and reattach conduit piping

    + Assemble furniture, storage racks, and light equipment

    + Conduct minor plumbing repairs as needed

    + Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines

    + Proactively communicate any repair needs or site concerns

    Requirements:

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in general commercial maintenance or handyman work

    + Comfortable using power tools and standard maintenance equipment

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift

    + Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE

    + OSHA 10 and/or basic mechanical certifications preferred

    + Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are essential
