As a Director, Global Division Planning, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

+ **Strategic Leadership:** Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports the division's growth objectives and enhances operational efficiency.

+ **Service Improvement:** Lead initiatives to improve service levels, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align supply chain activities with customer needs.

+ **Inventory Optimization:** Design and execute inventory management strategies to reduce costs, improve turnover rates, and minimize waste. Utilize data-driven insights to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.

+ **Team Development:** Build and nurture a strong leadership team, providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement. Encourage innovation and empower team members to take ownership of their roles.

+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes and support overall business objectives.

+ **Supplier Management:** Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality and reliability in the supply chain.

+ **Performance Analysis:** Analyze supply chain performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Use data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

+ **Innovation and Best Practices:** Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the supply chain.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operational management (completed and verified prior to start)

+ Five (5) years of experience in a senior supply chain leadership role in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

+ Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) from an accredited institution

+ Demonstrated success in driving service and inventory improvements and leading transformational change.

+ Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams.

+ Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships and influencing stakeholders.

+ Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Transformation experience

+ Ability to operate at Strategic and Operational levels

+ Experience leading large cross-functional projects including using project management skills to motivate and align resources

+ Proven ability to successfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to drive decisions across all levels of the organization

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $228,040 - $278,715, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
