    ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT

    The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing and streamlining the invoicing and collection processes within an organization, ensuring timely and accurate billing and receipt of payments. This role involves managing the accounts receivable team, implementing effective credit control measures, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to resolve billing disputes and encourage prompt payment. You will also play a crucial role in financial reporting and analysis, providing key insights into cash flow and contributing to strategic financial planning. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of accounting principles and customer service excellence.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Manage and oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and collections

    + Supervise a team of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations

    + Develop and enforce accounts receivable policies, procedures, and internal controls to minimize errors and improve cash flow

    + Review and verify customer invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms

    + Monitor and track outstanding customer balances, following up on overdue payments and delinquent accounts

    + Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries

    + Review and approve credit limits for customers, assessing creditworthiness and managing credit risk

    + Prepare and maintain aging reports to identify outstanding receivables and prioritize collections efforts

    + Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers when necessary, balancing customer relations with financial recovery goals

    + Coordinate with legal counsel and collections agencies for escalated collection efforts as required

    + Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements for customer receipts

    + Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

    + Provide guidance on cash flow forecasting and contribute to financial planning and budgeting processes

    + Continuously improve accounts receivable processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

    + Generate regular reports on accounts receivable metrics, aging reports, and cash flow for senior management review

    + Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + 18 years of age or older

    + Eligible to work in the United States

    + Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

    + Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)

    + Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

    + 5 Years of Accounts Receivable experience

    + 2 Years Leading Accounts Receivable Department

    + Very strong administration practices for organization and project management

    + Possess proficient 10 key and typing skills

    + Proficient in programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    + Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

    + Pass a background check and drug screen

    + Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations

    + Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers

    + Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
