    Pratt and Whitney has an exciting opportunity for an **Assistant Controller** with our **Compression Systems Modular Center (CSMC)** .

     

    The position will be based **onsite** at our facilities in **Middletown, CT** .

    What You Will Do:

    - Consolidate & report to the Controller & General Manager overall financial & operating results.

     

    - Provide variance explanations of Actuals and Forecasting results to management.

     

    - Manage and track shop performance/support profit assurance against forecasted key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide weekly status updates to Operations Leadership team.

     

    - Assist in monthly close activities and in the preparation and submission of monthly forecasts by working closely with the operating business unit managers.

     

    - Act as a business leader for CSMC Operations in providing financial and strategic guidance on efforts related to shop volume, manpower planning, labor metrics, operating expenses, cost per hour, inventory accrual burndown and part cost.

     

    - Assist in preparing the long range plan, including shop load, factory over head, scrap, aged inventory and headcount requirements.

     

    - Proactively develop risks and opportunities and timely communicate to plant and group management.

     

    - Provide financial support and analysis on CSMC cost reduction projects and ad-hoc initiatives.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required with at least 10 years' of relevant experience or 7 years' of experience with a master's degree.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    - Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams.

     

    - Prior history or experience in Manufacturing Operations Finance is a plus.

     

    - Self-starter who enjoys a dynamic work environment.

     

    - Highly adaptable team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

     

    - Well organized person, able to plan, forecast, and track progress and to use written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business objectives.

     

    - Proficiency or previous experience with Excel, SAP, HFM and Business Warehouse.

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
