    The Opportunity:

    This is a unique opportunity to manage a diverse group of professionals supporting critical Department of Defense and federal government contracts. You will work directly for the Program Manager and with Project Managers as a member of a customer Agile team identifying task sprint priorities for your department.     This position is located on site in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

    Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations of a new facility and communicating to the Program Manager in our second local facility.

    + Direct management of Item Managers/Equipment Specialists, and Indirect management of Logistics, Warehousing, and Purchasing personnel.

    + Military Logistics and/or Purchasing background is desirable to include terminology, FAR or other US Government agency requirements, acquisition and depot warehousing processes.

    + Provide guidance and recommendations on requirements and industry best practices.

    + Review and approve purchasing credit card reimbursement packets.

    + Manage annual physical wall-wall inventory audits with support of the IMs and Logistics personnel.

    + Warehousing safety requirements to include shipping and receiving of hazardous material.

    + Proposal writing and labor determinations to support the Basis of Estimate.

    + Managing a matrixed labor force to provide department labor input for personnel working across many contracts balancing customer priorities.

    + Determining job requirements and personnel training needs.

    + Author and ability to oversee writing of requirement documentation.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

    + BA/BS, 3 years of military or government supply chain experience or an Associate’s degree with experience of military or government supply chain.

    + Knowledge of inventory and purchasing databases: Command Logistics Automated Support System (CLASS), SAP, P2P or similar tools.

    + Must be highly motivated and organized with a positive attitude who hits the ground running daily.

    + Understands management approaches as you will supervise a small but diverse team.

    + Previous oversight of a large program government property system

    + Knowledge of government purchasing requirements FAR

    + Requires a keen knowledge of DoD contracts to include government flow-downs for oversight of ethical adherence to these requirements. This includes responsibility for plans, costs, resources, quality, measurement and analysis.

    + Strong leadership skills

    + Management of internal and 3rd party audits

    + Excellent communication skills

    + General facility operations experience; knowledge of facility operations and security procedures are a plus as portions of the facility are scheduled for construction in the near future.

    _Desired:_

    + National Property Management Association Certification (CPPS, CPPA, or CPPM)

    + Military Logistics and Purchasing background is highly desirable to include Contract reading and writing and understanding of government flow-downs.

    + Contracting certification or experience

    + DoD DCMA contract flow-downs: FAR 52.245-1, 52.245-9; DFARS 252.245-7001, 252.245-7002, 252.245-7003, 252.245-7004, 252.211-7007 knowledge is a plus.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $78,000 - $163,800
