    **Facility:** BayCare Behavioral Health - Magnolia Plaza

    **Location:** New Port Richey, FL

    **Status:** Full Time

    **Hours:** 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Monday-Friday

    The Behavioral Health Office Representative is primarily responsible for inbound and outbound communications via telephone and will:

    + Schedule patients with appropriate providers, answer phones, and respond within timeframes defined by departmental guidelines

    + Obtain complete and accurate patient registration information according to department standards

    + Review and confirm all registration information is accurate at each appointment and make any required updates

    + Review daily schedules for availability and coordinate with onsite supervisor to ensure provider schedules are at capacity

    + Consistently review cancellation, displaced patients, and appointment request worklist throughout the day

    + Accept transfers from other facilities according to established guidelines

    + Support the behavioral health office care team with greeting, registering and checking in patients, obtaining and updating patient information, scheduling patient appointments, assisting with patient inquiries, may arrange for additional services, collecting and posting payments, assisting with patient billing questions, and ensuring completion of all encounter documentation prior to check out

    Requirements:

    + High School or Equivalent

    + 1 year Related Field

    + **Preferred:** Bilingual in Spanish
