Summary:
Meta is looking for an experienced leader to join its Marketing Strategic Planning and Operations (SP&O) team, supporting the Business Marketing organization. The SP&O team unlocks collective, sustainable Marketing impact by shaping marketing strategy and plans, spearheading operational rigor, and evolving capabilities by leading key initiatives that drive impact . This role will lead SP&O for the entire Business Marketing portfolio, partnering closely with Marketing leadership and supporting a team of six.We are seeking a skilled leader experienced in driving complex cross-functional initiatives with executive stakeholders to positively influence business outcomes. You will demonstrate effective analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills, with a proven record of leveraging data for strategic decision-making. With a background in business and marketing strategy, this leader must balance strategic vision with operational expertise.

Director of Strategic Planning & Operations - Business Marketing Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management: 1. Lead team to successfully deliver against goals and objectives, drive maximum business impact 2. Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities, fostering an environment of accountability and operational rigor
2. Strategic Planning: 1. Lead annual and ad hoc planning processes - partner with marketing cross-functional partners to develop marketing strategies, ensure alignment, and define and track organizational goals 2. Distill business insights to identify high-impact opportunities, as well as efficiently deploy budget and headcount resources 3. Build investment cases to land the annual plan and incremental resource asks, including driving trade-off discussions
3. Drive Operational Rigor: 1. Define, implement, manage, and refine organizational operations, rhythms of business, and ways of working that enable Marketing to drive impact with speed and scale 2. Remove roadblocks, escalate misalignments, and ensure teams are set up for successful execution 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, legal and communications to align on strategic priorities and drive go-to-market success
4. Transform Marketing Capabilities 1. Identify opportunities to build and improve on strategic marketing, planning, and operations processes to support the Business Marketing organization 2. Accelerate progress on complex, critical initiatives by providing strategic and operational support. Lead program management, including project planning / tracking and stakeholder communication
Minimum Qualifications:

5. 12+ years of professional experience in marketing, operations, or strategy at a tech company, startup, or strategy consulting firm
6. 10+ years experience leading high-performing teams
7. Experience influencing at all levels of the organization up to the CEO and other, cross-functional VP leaders
8. Experience distilling complex ideas simply, and the experience zooming in and out effectively based on audience
9. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and delivering business results in fast-moving, ambiguous situations
10. Experience with organizational transformation, process optimization, and scaling operations
11. Understanding of the Marketing function and its core competencies

12. Prior experience in either management consulting or in-house strategy and operations
13. MBA or related graduate degree
14. Prior experience in business/B2B marketing
15. Experience working in fast-growing tech environment
Public Compensation:
$227,000/year to $296,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
