Shift: Mon - Thur 4(10) hr days 530am - 330pm w/ OT on FRIs/SATs

Required: Active or expired Certifications in either IPC-610 or IPC J-STD-001

IPC Certifications are preferred

THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.

This is a requisition for a PCB Rework Repair Specialist.

SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

JOB DUTIES:

• Soldering & De-soldering fine-pitch components to printed circuit boards (PCBs)

• Soldering surface mount components to PCBs

• Repair damaged traces on PCBs

• Repair damaged through-hole pads on PCBs

• Repair damaged surface mount pads on PCBs

• Repair damaged internal circuitry on PCBs

• Replace damaged gold contacts

• Remove and replace through-hole components

• Remove and replace surface mount components

• Hot Gas surface mount component rework for BGA (Ball Grid Array) Devices

• 5 years of experience in a similar role, we have many roles if you have less than 5yrs of PCB Rework or Repair or Soldering please send resume, we many different positions

• IPC certification either (IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD), BOTH IPC Certifications are preferred

Qualities of a Successful Candidate
