As the State Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for administering state program activities related to system functions for the Nutrition Program Services Division and customers. Duties will include:
+ Submit timely and accurate documentation and reports
+ Advise sponsors about reporting and procedural requirements
+ Determine compliance with administrative and reporting provisions of the federal Child Nutrition Programs
+ Distribute reports and information for program analysis
+ Provide support for processes required by the Child Nutrition Programs administered out of the division
This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota or a bordering state. Employees living within50miles of the office location listed above will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month.
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of paraprofessional, clerical or technical experience in a related field
OR
A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of paraprofessional, clerical or technical experience in a related field
Experience must include the following demonstrated skills and abilities:
+ Attention to detail to ensure data is entered and processed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
+ The ability to communicate effectively to obtain and provide clear, accurate and thorough information on a timely basis to internal staff and external customers.
+ The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external customers.
+ Ability to adapt to organizational and program changes sufficient to work constructively under pressure and cope with ambiguity.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to navigate in web applications.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with USDA Child Nutrition Programs and the state and federal laws and regulations governing them.
+ Experience working with or for an entity that operates a child nutrition program, such as a non-profit organization, school or child care center.
+ Experience working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
