Position Purpose:

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This position is responsible for the internal transport of patients and the distribution of assignment equipment.

+ Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled for 36 hours a week: **Wednesday-Saturday 1pm-9:30pm**

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.

+ Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required.

What You Will Do:

+ Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike.

+ Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.

+ Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations.

+ Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.
