## **Job Summary**

This senior level position loads/enters, verifies, manipulates, reviews and analyzes data related to engineering operations, under limited supervision in order to provide technical and administrative support to engineering operations personnel\.

## **Job Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Performs data management activities, which include loading/entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data related to engineering operations

+ Provides user support for software systems to other technical support and professional personnel, which may include installation and maintenance of software and troubleshooting user issues

+ Performs engineering calculations and preliminary analyses for interpretation of data

+ May serve as liaison to corporate Information Systems personnel for more complex problems

+ Performs selection, analyses, and interpretation of technical data

+ Performs advanced data analysis and makes recommendations based on interpretation of data

+ Recommends design improvements using complex, but established procedures

+ Provides basic, discipline\-specific training to new systems users

+ Coordinates data transfer and updates shared data sources among departments

+ Utilizes Spotfire software to discover trends in operational data and reports

+ Applies skills and concepts to ensure data integrity, data reliability, and data accessibility throughout the group

+ Compiles data, communicates, and provides information to engineers

+ Performs other duties as assigned

## **Job Specific Skills**

+ Ability to use rigorous logic, critical thinking skills, and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions

+ Ability to build numerical and analytical tools using standard industry and corporate software

+ Advanced knowledge of Drilling, Completion, and Workover reports

+ Advanced knowledge of PC/mainframe systems

+ Advanced knowledge of database application software

## **Education**

Minimum: High School Diploma

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree \- from accredited university \- Engineering, Math, Science, or related field

## **Experience**

Minimum: 5 \- 8 years related work experience
