JOB SUMMARY
The **Director of Business Intelligence Reporting** will lead the strategy and execution of enterprise reporting solutions. This role will drive the delivery of high-impact dashboards and analytics using Power BI, Tableau, and Snowflake, while fostering a culture of agility, iteration, and innovation. This leader will champion enterprise BI standards and oversee the rationalization, standardization, and onboarding of legacy reports into MiNT, our centralized enterprise BI platform. The ideal candidate brings a strong bias for action, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and balances stakeholder needs with fast, iterative report delivery. They will also manage a team of offshore contractors and champion the use of AI-driven capabilities to enhance automation, insight generation, and user experience.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expert-level proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, and Snowflake.
• Strong track record of successfully leading legacy report migration, standardization, and onboarding to modern BI platforms.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and iterative reporting delivery.
• Strong data governance, data modeling, and metadata management knowledge.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and deliver high-value reporting solutions quickly.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with enterprise data catalog tools such as Atlan or Atlassian
• Familiarity with AI and automation in reporting, including predictive modeling, alerts, and smart insights.
• Experience using dbt, SQL, or Python to enhance or automate BI workflows.
• Background in managing enterprise reporting architecture and self-service ecosystems.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
• Lead the development and execution of the enterprise BI reporting strategy, focusing on scalable architecture, visual excellence, and platform adoption.
• Establish and execute a roadmap for enterprise self-service and managed reporting using Tableau, Power BI, and Snowflake
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, focusing on rapid delivery of value through multiple report iterations and feedback loops.
• Own and drive the rationalization, standardization, and onboarding of legacy reports to MiNT, ensuring alignment with enterprise reporting strategy.
• Promote and enforce enterprise BI standards, ensuring all reporting assets are consistent, governed, and published to MiNT for centralized access and discoverability.
• Drive the transition from ad hoc and siloed reporting to a streamlined, governed ecosystem aligned with business goals.
• Integrate AI-enhanced capabilities such as predictive insights, smart alerts, and natural language querying into reports and dashboards.
• Champion a lightweight, agile approach to BI delivery, focused on iterative development, rapid prototyping, and continuous user feedback.
• Replace traditional, document-heavy requirements gathering with collaborative design sessions, mockups, and interactive feedback loops.
• Partner with business and technical teams to ensure BI solutions are intuitive, impactful, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Establish and maintain a standardized visualization framework, including dashboard templates, visual libraries, and naming conventions.
• Define and track KPIs for platform adoption, delivery speed, usage patterns, and reporting quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of offshore report developers, driving quality, performance, and accountability.
• Keep abreast of emerging BI technologies and continuously assess opportunities to improve efficiency and impact.

The pay range for this position is $56.53 to $90.34 per hour.
**Washington Applicants Only:** Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
