Summary:
The Project Manager (PM), Operational Strategy is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the successful execution of clinical and operational projects related to strategic improvements across Physician Enterprise. This will include the identification of project opportunities; the development of project pipelines; providing process improvement methodology leadership to project teams; and the application and delivery of project management functions within Physician Enterprise. The PM will lead and help grow a culture of Continuous Improvement and Change Management throughout Physician Enterprise. The project management role will apply to multiple medium-scale projects that are moderate in complexity and diversity, as well as portions of larger strategic projects. The Project Manager will be results-oriented and support the teams with development of implementation plans, completes and assigns tasks, monitors project progress, mitigates project risks, and reports project status back to Stakeholders. The PM will be detail-oriented and proactive to support healthcare practice operations through effective project management and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor's Degree required
+ Masters in Project Management preferred
EXPERIENCE
+ Three (3) or more years of healthcare or performance improvement experience required
+ Experience with clinical and financial healthcare functions preferred
+ Experience in working with people who are geographically dispersed
+ Experience in analytics preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
+ Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Knowledge of project planning
+ Strong time and task management to prioritize multiple projects or initiatives
+ Proficient communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal associates
+ Uses imagination and judgment to recommend workable alternatives to project stakeholders
+ Ability to problem solve and work through barriers to project progress
