Purpose of Position:

The primary role of this position is to provide quality service and support to Project Specialists, and U.S. customers, Sales (Divisional Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Application Development Managers, Technical Support Specialists, Inside Sales Specialists) to increase company profits and gain market share. Bid Support is the initial point of contact for requests related to commercial bids and is responsible for accurate and prompt routing, tracking and resolution of requests and inquiries.

Bid Support is a support function within the larger Bids/Project Team that evaluates and manages incoming requests and supports overall bid preparation and project order execution.

Essential Functions:

+ Handle incoming calls and e-mails from internal customers (Manufacturing, Customer Service, Service, Tech Support, Bid Specialist, Credit, Sales Enablement, etc.).

+ Evaluate project scope and prepare “no bids”.

+ Qualify request for quotes and distribute request to the appropriate Project Specialist

+ Assist with requests on pricing, shipping, availability, terms, and stock information

+ Resolve customer complaints and problems.

Education, Background and Skill Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ 2+ years customer service experience

+ Advanced order entry knowledge and customer support

+ Advanced knowledge of customer support processes (i.e., pricing, products, returns, etc.)

+ Ability to resolve customer complaints/problems and provide follow up to customers and supervisor

+ Ability to thrive to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

+ Willing to work OT or long hours to complete all tasks, when necessary

+ In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Oracle, Salesforce, ect.

+ Contract review experience

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 USD per year.
