ystem Configuration and Optimization:

Configuring the Epic Radiant module, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems like PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

Data Management and Analysis:

.

Analyzing data related to radiology workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the system.

User Support and Training:

.

Providing ongoing support to end-users, addressing their questions and concerns, and training them on new features and functionalities.

Collaboration and Communication:

.

Working closely with radiology staff, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the system meets operational needs.

System Testing and Implementation:

.

Participating in the testing and implementation of new system upgrades, enhancements, and configurations.

Documentation:

.

Maintaining documentation related to system configurations, workflows, and user guides.

Skills and Qualifications:

Epic Radiant Certification:

.

Certification in the Epic Radiant module is often a requirement or highly desired.

Healthcare IT Experience:

.

Prior experience in healthcare IT, particularly with electronic health records, is essential.

Radiology Knowledge:

.

Understanding of radiology workflows, imaging technologies, and relevant regulations.

Problem-Solving Skills:

.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Project Management Skills:

In essence, an Epic Radiant analyst acts as a bridge between the technical aspects of the Epic system and the clinical needs of the radiology department, ensuring the system effectively supports patient care and operational efficiency.
