    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a strategic, Auto Insurance Manager to oversee a rental car client's insurance program and operations. This role will collaborate with the Legal, Risk, Product, Operations, and Finance teams and interface directly with senior leadership to build a successful insurance function. Our client is at a key moment in its insurance journey, with crucial decisions around Auto Liability program selection and claims management upcoming. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with the opportunity to impact strategy and build out an insurance team in the future.

     

    Our client is seeking an individual with a strong insurance background who has been directly responsible for implementing similar commercial Auto insurance programs for large fleets and can bring expertise on all parts of an insurance program, from cost-benefit analysis to implementation and claims management. Responsibilities will include the following:

     

    *Own insurance program management through working directly with our insurance, claims, and broker partners to identify the optimal insurance solutions for our fleets and implement them

    *Use past experience in the Auto Liability space to evaluate future insurance options and clearly communicate the pros/cons of each approach

    *Quickly ramp up to be the resident expert on everything related to insurance. Most importantly, deeply understand organization's Auto Liability needs. This also extends to other coverage types such as Cyber, General Liability, and Workers Compensation.

    *Act as the point of contact for our Claims partners and step in on high severity cases to ensure organization's best interests are kept in mind

    *Identify gaps in coverage or areas of opportunity for future insurance products, either to insure the organization or to insure our customers.

    *Manage renewals for all insurance coverages

    *Provide a blueprint for building out an effective internal Insurance function / Build a team!

    Skills and Requirements

    *5+ years of experience within commercial auto insurance in any of the following settings: insurance provider, brokers, or rental/rideshare companies leveraging commercial auto insurance

    *Strong understanding of claims management, especially within auto liability

    *Leadership acumen and a desire to lead a team in the future

    *Experience working alongside Legal, Product, Operations and Risk functions to implement necessary policies related to insurance programs

    *Ability to identify gaps in fleet coverage and evaluate trade-offs on both financial, as well as operational levels *Insurance strategy experience within a similar rideshare or rental car company null
