Job Description

A client of Insight Global that is leader in the activated carbon industry headquartered in Moon Township, PA is expanding their team and looking to hire on a Field Service Technician in the Boston, MA area. As a Field Service Representative I, you will support our customers through the on-site delivery of field services related to the companys activated carbon products, equipment, and service offerings. This role plays a critical part in fulfilling our service agreements and providing excellent customer support in the field.

Key responsibilities include:

Schedule and document daily on-site activities using internal systems (FSWO database and work process)

Perform start-up, maintenance, and removal of carbon adsorption equipment

Conduct media removal and installation (carbon and other media)

Train customers on the operation of equipment using the O&M manual and company procedures

Troubleshoot and perform inspections and repairs on equipment

Adhere to all safety requirements and site-specific protocols

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required

2-3 years of experience in the carbon treatment industry or a related field is required

Valid drivers license required (Class A CDL preferred)

Confined Space Certification required (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)

HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification required (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)

TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)

Previous experience in an industrial or field-based environment strongly preferred null
