• Secret Linux System Administrator

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Secret cleared Linux System Administrator to sit fully on site in Linthicum, MD to support an enterprise IT and infrastructure environment used by internal users. This individual will be expected to troubleshoot and monitor physical and virtual servers, follow and stay up to date with proper security compliance, provide server administration, backups, imaging, encryptions, and application support. The current environment is a mix between Linux and Windows, totaling a team of 9 admins. The ideal candidate will be mainly focused in Linux with knowledge in Windows. This person will be working independently and may act as a point of escalation at times. This person must have experience with the process of stigging, working with VMware, and cybersecurity compliance.

     

    Compensation: $50/hr. -- 57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience

     

    Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance

     

    Active Security+ Cert

     

    Ability to work independently install and operate within Linux/RHEL 7+ OS

     

    Experience managing and maintaining virtualized environments using VMware

     

    Experience with cybersecurity compliance (NIST, RMF, FISMA) Experience with Windows

     

    Experience stigging networks

     

    Experience with Kubernetes

     

    Experience with Ansible

    Scripting in Bash null
