    Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and strategic **Director, Major Accounts Sales – Warehouse (F** **ood Processing, Food Distribution, & Cold Storage)** .

     

    This high-impact leadership role oversees a team of high-performing Major Account Managers (MAMs) focused on food processing, food distribution, cold storage, and warehouse industries. The Director is responsible for driving growth across the full Hyster-Yale portfolio—including equipment, aftermarket, fleet services, financing, and emerging technologies.

     

    _*Please note:_** **_This position is fully remote and requires up to 25–50% travel._

    What You Will Do:

    + Lead, coach, and develop a team of Major Account Managers to exceed revenue, margin, and portfolio sales targets.

    + Drive the sales process, including strategic account planning, forecasting, and pipeline development.

    + Promote the full suite of Hyster-Yale solutions, including equipment, aftermarket, fleet services, financing, and emerging technologies, to meet evolving customer needs.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Inside Sales to inform and execute growth initiatives.

    + Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts and dealer partners.

    + Monitor and leverage market trends and customer insights to refine sales strategy and support solution innovation.

    Who You Are:

    + A dynamic sales leader with current and proven success managing a high-performing sales team for 5+ years.

    + Deeply experienced in materials handling, with broad exposure to food manufacturing, food distribution, cold storage, warehousing, robotics, systems integration, and third-party logistics.

    + Strategic in approach, with a strong understanding of warehouse design, operations, and customer challenges.

    + A confident communicator and trusted collaborator, skilled at leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.

    + Driven to deliver results, grow customer relationships, and develop talent.

    What You Will Need:

    + Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (Business or related field); Master’s degree a plus. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

    + 15+ years of experience in materials handling equipment sales, including relevant experience in food, warehousing, logistics, or related sectors

    + 5+ years of success leading and developing a high-performing sales team

    Skills, Experience & Abilities:

    + Strong leadership and strategic thinking, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

    + Technical and application knowledge of the lift truck industry.

    + Deep understanding of warehouse design, operations, and customer pain points.

    + Sales and financial management experience with a record of delivering revenue and margin growth.

    + Familiarity with dealer sales models, field support, and cross-functional collaboration.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
