What you will do:
This position will be responsible for ensuring facility equipment is functioning at all times. They will perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure production machinery runs efficiently. Technicians will be responsible for tear down, repair, reassembly and modifications of machinery. They must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
+ Conduct machine set ups, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance service.
+ Examine parts for defects, such as breakage and excessive wear.
+ Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
+ Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts to inspect, test and repair.
+ Use a variety of hand and power tools to fulfill tasks.
+ Clean, lubricate and adjust parts of machinery.
+ Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required, technical training a plus.
+ A minimum of five years manufacturing electrical/mechanical machine maintenance experience required.
+ Previous electrical and mechanical manufacturing machine maintenance experience required.
+ Manual lathe experience preferred, but not required.
+ Physically able to bend, stretch, climb, and lift/move up to 50 pounds
+ Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and safety
+ Required knowledge in mechanical gears, bearings, pulley, belts, etc., pneumatics and hydraulics in order to effectively perform various duties to maintain production machines.
This is a temp to hire position on first shift. The hours are Monday-Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM with the potential for Saturdays and/or holidays. The start time could be 6:00 AM and is subject to change based on business need.
