Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher
Purpose:
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment to support exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, storage areas, fridges, freezers, ovens, and dry goods cupboards
+ Wash and store dishes, utensils, and cookware
+ Hand-wash pots, pans, and trays to standard
+ Manage trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of garbage cans and loading dock
+ Move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
+ Regularly disinfect kitchen floors, prep areas, buffets, and dining spaces
+ Assist with food plating, event setup, and breakdown
+ Perform other duties as needed to support kitchen operations
Qualifications:
+ **Experience:** Prior kitchen or cleaning experience preferred
+ **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ **Certification:** Food Safety certificate required within 90 days; ServSafe preferred
Physical Requirements:
+ Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
+ Bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
+ Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
