Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is currently seeking an **Associate Fabrication Specialist** to join the **Manufacturing Support Team (Machine Shop),** located in **North Charleston, South Carolina** on **2** **_nd_** **shift.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Follows detailed verbal and/or written instructions, reads and interprets moderately complex blueprint drawings and specifications to set-up and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts and fillers as required using manual and CNC machines

+ Develops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry

+ Assists other machinists in completing job responsibilities

+ Performs machine set-up, machining, deburring and fabrication tasks

+ Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements

+ Maintains all necessary certifications to perform the job

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing

+ Must be able to work any shift

+ Ability to lift to 35 lbs – this role requires frequent lifting up to 10 lbs, occasional carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, walking, standing, balancing, frequent reaching overhead and at or above shoulder, frequent sitting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 1+ years of CNC experience

+ 1+ years of experience with the 787 Program

+ 1+ years of experience with systems to perform work (SOS, CMES, Velocity, REDARS)

+ 1+ years of experience in a team environment

+ 1+ years of experience in a role with Team Leadership (Formal/Informal)

Summary Pay Range: $49,500 - $60,500
