    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an **Associate or** **Experienced** **Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer** at **Hill AFB** in **UT** . Boeing has an established legacy of national defense through our ICBM programs. Our involvement is ongoing today and will continue into the distance future.     Position Responsibilities:

    + Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products

    + Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications

    + Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis

    + Performs test and integration of EE designs in a lab setting

    + Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements

    + Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope

    + Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product

    + Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements

    + Works under general direction

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

     

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship** . **An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

    + Associate Level 2: 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

    + Experienced: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Active Secret clearance

    + Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience

    + Previous Global Positioning System (GPS) data receiver/processor design experience

    + Previous data encryption algorithm design experience

    + Previous Radio Frequency (RF) system design experience

    + Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business)

    + Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and/or certifications

    Summary pay range:

    Associate (Level 2): $ 79,900 - $ 108,100

     

    Experienced (Level 3): $ 96,050 - $129,950
