    TITLE: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

     

    REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

     

    CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt

     

    PAY GRADE: NE 35 ($20.00 - $30.19 per hour)

     

    AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

    Position Summary:

    The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the execution of marketing initiatives that help advance Pioneer’s brand and business objectives. This role is responsible for creating and scheduling content across various channels - including social media, email, and the website - as well as supporting the preparation, launch, and analysis of marketing campaigns. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator also assists with managing sponsorships, events, marketing requests, and internal administrative functions that support the department’s day-to-day operations.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Content Creation & Campaign Support

     

    + Draft compelling, brand-aligned content for digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and print materials.

    + Assist in the development, coordination, and reporting of marketing and communications campaigns.

    + Support the Marketing Manager in building and maintaining a strategic content calendar across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment with business priorities, seasonal campaigns, and community events.

    + Conduct content planning sessions with team members and internal stakeholders to identify upcoming content needs and opportunities.

    + Ensure all content adheres to Pioneer’s brand guidelines in tone, visual style, and messaging.

     

    Digital & Email Marketing

     

    + Draft email communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring accurate targeting, formatting, and testing prior to deployment.

    + Assist with website and blog updates to keep content fresh, relevant, and in alignment with SEO and branding standards.

    + Support social media content planning, creation, and scheduling across platforms.

     

    Events, Sponsorships & Marketing Requests

     

    + Manage incoming marketing support requests from internal teams, ensuring timely and effective execution of materials and deliverables.

    + Coordinate community sponsorships, events, and promotional activities, serving as a point of contact for logistics and branding materials.

     

    Administrative Support

     

    + Assist with audit preparation, file management, inventory of marketing materials, and other administrative duties that support team efficiency.

    + Maintain campaign documentation, vendor records, and compliance approvals as needed.

    Education & Experience:

    + Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.

    + 1–2 years of relevant marketing or communications experience preferred (internship experience considered).

    + Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to accuracy and tone.

    + Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools; experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus.

    + Basic understanding of branding and visual identity principles.

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

    + Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus. Experience using email marketing platforms a plus.

    + Must have own transportation, or access to reliable transportation on short notice and valid driver's license plus ability to maintain this throughout employment.

    + Must be available to travel to branch locations or other off-site locations when needed on short (sometimes same day) notice.

    + Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for shows, seminars, etc. to assist with marketing needs.
