Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Dorchester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to vital HR functions, including leave management, candidate coordination, and maintaining accurate employee records. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service to employees and applicants.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and respond to employee inquiries related to leave policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and legal requirements.
• Review and evaluate incoming resumes to identify candidates with relevant experience for open positions.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized employee records, including documentation for leave requests and candidate applications.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and follow up with applicants to enhance the overall candidate experience.
• Provide attentive support through email correspondence and effective communication with employees and candidates.
• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organize and maintain HR-related files to ensure easy accessibility and secure recordkeeping. Requirements • Proven experience in leave management and handling employee inquiries.
• Strong skills in reviewing resumes and assessing candidates based on their experience.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including email correspondence.
• Ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively.
• Solid organizational skills with experience in file management and data entry.
• Customer service expertise, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness in interactions.
